The 2000 Tokyo Hobby Show featured several interesting R/C products, although not as many as previous years. Click on the pictures to enlarge them(opens in new window).

O.S. previews the all-new 140 4-cycyle Fuel-Injection engine. It seems that Fuel-Injection(FI) technonlogy is the way to go in the future, as they showed FI engines for 90 & 160 sizes, to supplement the present 140RX.

Pilot & EZ presented more new planes, in the form of a 30/50 size 'Hyde Away', a smaller varient of Chip Hyde's 'Hyde Out'. It has a wingspan of 1.34m. This is in addition to the present 15 size 'Hyde Away'. Also new is a ARF Giles 202 by Pilot, that features a 1.77m wingspan. Initial retail price being 92,000yen.

Kyosho, having close ties with Naruke, released a Sonic 30, another of Naruke's design. A newer version of the popular G-Trick 90 was also present, with a new paint scheme.

Yoshioka presented a new 50 size pattern aircraft, 'Imagine 50'. Hirobo, starting their foray into airplanes, also presented a 50 size pattern plane, 'Stream 50'.
