Cherbourg, France - RCAEROSPORT brings an inside scoop on F3A World Champion, Christophe Paysant-Le Roux's new F3A model, 'SUXESS'.

Mr. Stanley Chan, Singapore's F3A National Champion, was on his honeymoon in France, and decided to pay a visit to the Paysant-Le Roux family, having known them for many years. This is not Stanley's first visit to Cherbourg, and he has stayed with the hospitable family previously. This time around, with wife in tow, he made sure to capture some interesting photos for RCAEROSPORT. From what we hear, there's much more to see in France, but we will contend ourselves with pictures of this beautiful aircraft.

Below are some pictures from Christophe's home town, as he prepares for an upcoming competition. As you can see from the pictures, some minor changes are still being made. Also included are two pictures of Chip Hyde's 'DOUBLE VISION ', also to be manufactured by ZN Line. Christophe's brother, Benoit, is flying the 'ALLIANCE' seen here. We will be seeing more of both the Paysant-Le Roux brothers among the F3A circuit in the future! (Benoit was a finalist in the 1995 F3A WC in Japan.)

Some Pre-production information from the makers, ZN Line:
'ZN Line, with the permission of F3A World Champion Christophe Paysant Le Roux, proudly brings you the first photos of the Suxess, Christophe's new airplane for the upcoming F3A season. Designed by Christophe, this prototype was manufactured in it's entirety by ZN Line using a combination of old and new techniques and technology. The fuselage is ZN's traditional Kevlar/Carbon Fiber design, ultra light and strong, with styrafoam wings sheeted with contest balsa. Other techniques have been refined and perfected to allow for quick and easy wing and strut attachments that are both light in weight and strong enough to withstand seasons of flying. The cabanes and struts are CF, and are ultra strong, resulting in an extremely rigid and durable airplane that weighs in at 4.5-4.6 kilograms (9.9-10.1lbs) with the YS140DZ, about the same as most F3A monoplanes, but with 60% more wing area. Still a prototype, we hope to be able to remove about 100 grams from the raw airframe with the use of special materials on the production version.'

Please visit ZN Line website for information on these kits, and their distributor listing for purchasing enquires as well.
