2001 F3A World Championships will held at Ireland, from Aug 24 to Sep
2. RCAEROSPORT brings to you the Asia-Oceanic Team Roundup, heading towards
Cork, Ireland, to compete with the best pilots from the other continents.

Team Australia
The
same team Australia fielded for CAOCC 2000 Singapore, will be fielded
again for the 2001 F3A WC. They comprise of Steve Coram, Alfred
Pye, and David McFarlane(replacing Chris White).

Team New
Zealand
Team
members are: James Damby, Steve Alexander and Hamish Galloway.
This
very friendly team will consist of Alex Lau, Jacky Tse, and Li Hung
Kay. CAOCC Semi-Finalist, Andy Lau, is in the midst of University
studies, and not particpating.
Team South
Korea
The
South Korean team consists of CAOCC semi-finalist S.N. Kim(1st),
and S.S. Jung(2nd) and B.J. Park(3rd).

Japanese Team includes a new member this year, . The team comprises
of Hajime Hatta(1st), Kusama(2nd) and Yoichiro Akiba(3rd). Only

Team Thailand
- Not Entering
Uncertainity
surrounds the Thai team, with regard to their participation at Ireland.
However, if they are going, it will be similar team to CAOCC 2000,
comprising of : Nuttawut,
Choochart , Praphon.

Team Singapore
The
Singapore team consists of Derek Chan(2nd; myself), Frederick Yong(4th)
and Henry Lim(5th). National Champion, Stanley Chan, is unable to
attend the WC due to military training, and Bino(3rd), due to work
commitments.
