The ever friendly Thai team, brought down the 2nd largest contingent of flyers to CAOCC Singapore, consisting of 5 flyers. Flyer, Surasak Buhphenboo, even went to the extent of taking an alternative route to Singapore, by driving down from Bangkok. The Thai team comprised of Chaiphat Tubthong, Nuttawut Rattanaprarom, Choochart Sukhumcharoenchit, Praphon Techavipark and Surasak Buhphenboon.

Thailand's No.1 flyer, Chaiphat Tubthong, suffered a setback on the first round, by failling the noise test. After fitting a new engine, he passed the remaining noise tests and went on to finish 13th, just missing out on the Semi-Finals. The Thai team achieved 6th in team placings.
