The Australian team comprised of Alfred Pye, Chris White and David Mcfarlane. Steve Coram contested as defending chmpion from the '98 CAOCC. Alfred flew to an excellent 3rd position, just ahead of Steve Coram. David Mcfarlane finished in the Top 10, with 7th, followed closely by team-mate Chris White.

With all 3 pilots finishing within the Top 10, the Australia team secured 2nd place in the team event.Hopefully, Alfred will obtain an invite to the T.O.C., with his podium placing, and impressive execution of complex maneuveurs in the unknown schedules. Overall, a strong finish for the Australians.
