Singapore
was the venue of the recent 3rd Combined Asia Oceanic F3A Continental
Championship(CAOCC) 2000. The event was held between 16-25 June at Radio
Modellers Singapore's Tuas field.
Top
flyers, from Australia, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand,
South Korea, South Africa, Singapore and Thailand participated in this
Championship. Mr. Kouji Suzuki from Japan had all it needed to win the
Indidvidual Championship, with Team Japan easily wrapping up the Team
Event, having all three flyers in the top 5. This Championship marked
the very first FAI F3A event to feature the new rules, incoprating the
Semi-Finals, and 2 rounds of unknown in the Finals.
