Upon
opening the big Kyosho
G.Trick 90's box, I could not believe my eyes! Therein lies a wonderful
finished ARF F3A-like model . The fuselage was professionally made and
covered in Monokote. The cowl came pre-painted, and the engine soft
mount provided was just right for my YS 91AC . The wings were all balsa
made and are really light. The construction is very precise. The horizontal
and vertical tail, was like the wing, made of balsa and covered with
Monokote, ready to be fitted to the fuselage . All the molds were pre-painted
and very light . Without surprise,
construction was very easy to follow. I followed the instruction book
( in Japan and English language ) and all the parts came together without
problems . I have personally made some modifications to my G. Trick
:
I preferred to fit two servos in
the tail for the elevators.(This helps to get the right CG, w/o load;
and more precise elevator control)(Photo)
I preferred to permanently fit the
provided fuel tank in the CG position to prevent the CG from change
during flight.(Photo)
I fitted my Hatori silencer with an
anti vibrating system.
I used a micro servo for the engine
to save some weight .
The flying are characteristic
of F3A flying, without surprise. On maximum throw, you can discover
a new plane , fully 3D capable and very strong! There is no bad response
and is very predictable . I think that designer, Mr.Giichi
Naruke, with this project,
really discovered his Tricks so he named it G.TRICK . - Nicola

Having
seen the plane, the quality and fit of the plane is fantastic. Good
for practicing F3A or Freestyle flying or Artistic Aerobatics. A carbon
gear should help lower the weight. - Derek,
