Thunder Tiger "G-200" by Nicola Rossi

G-200When I have bought the Thunder Tiger G-200, I was actually looking for a inexpensive ARF to test my radio. So I got the G200 profile; after 50 flight I think that it is more than a radio test bed!

The construction is very easy and instruction was well supported.
As usual, I made a little modifications to the plane :-)

  • I moved the tank from the left of the profile fuselage to the right trailing edge wing panel .This resulted in a better looking G200; without a fuel tank that may ruin the look !
  • The rudder and elevator push-rod exit were moved to the landing edge of the wing(better looking and more direct).
  • The engine servo is a sub micro-servo to save some weight.
  • The CG is moved from the 120mm suggested from Thunder Tiger to 145 mm , this is to improve 3D characteristics .

The flight characteristic is very impressive. You may perform torque roll, hovering, flat spins, ultra flat spins and .... ascending flat spins!!! Perfect for 3-D practice. No bad for an ARF.- Nicola Rossi
